How To Be A Successful Bettor

By Richie Cules

There are a lot of things that can be worth knowing before you place your next bet. When you place a bet you think is right, but you don't have the exact statistics about the teams or players, you probably are just betting with the feeling that it's a good bet. And, correct me if I am wrong but, isn't there almost those bets that crashes the whole budget for you?

I can admit that it was that way for me anyway. Until I went to a ball game with a long time friend, who actually told me his little secret he always used when he was betting. I tell you this without any kind of overrating, that was a changing point in my life.

So what did my friend say to me?

To be honest, it was just a simple little thing he used to do before every bet. He was looking up the statistics for both the players or teams. And that is of course the easiest thing in the world, you just have to search for some websites that provides a sports statistics database. Just Google that up, or check at your online betting company, or the club's home pages themselves.

The important thing is to check for the useful stats, as my friend said to me.

Here is the simple truth. He checks the 20 latest games, if any player's are injured or banned and the 10 previous season's meetings between the teams.

By following his blueprints I turned my loosing streak to a winning streak. The first month I gained 53 points! If my stake would have been $100 I would have made $5300 in that month, but to tell you the truth I didn't have that kind of expense money by then. But I won money with this method, and that's the main thing.

Now, this took place two years ago, and today I am putting away around $5000 each month. To be honest, my friends advice was really good. It helped me a lot in a time of my life when I often came out short handed by the end of the month. His tips gave me a wake up-call, but the thing is that his trick is very good for the amateur playing with at the most $70-$100 dollars per month. I didn't stop there.

I got almost addicted to the stats and the feeling of security it gave me. I placed a bet and knew that I had at least 70% chance of winning. But the stats I looked up were too few to be truly secure, so I started to look around on the web for some programs or sports statistics providers. I found a few, but I also found some betting systems programs. Some of them were ok, some bad, but those who was working were using a quiet huge bit of statistics.

If you are about to try out your betting success, do research about your bets, check the stats. And if that is too time consuming, try one of these software's or betting picker's. Just make sure they use statistics to predict results!
