Better coordination is also a response of the body to the many hours spent playing the sport. The fast movements of the ball inevitably makes one develop lightning quick reflexes. It even improves the coordination of the hands to the eyes.

Playing a sport that you like does not ensure you of a good way to have fun, it also makes you better. Athletes have a better immune system than most people. Also, a good game does not only aim at a specific body area, it develops the entire body.
