Some Chronological Bible Reading Tips To Help You Grow Into A Strong Christian

By Anita Ortega

Reading the Bible can help a Christian know more about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the concepts of life and death, life now and life to come. However, not many people are accustomed to the habit of chronological Bible reading, leave alone having a yearly plan to read from Genesis all the way through Revelation. This leaves everyone with the question as to whether it is possible to read the whole book or not.

Understanding the kingdom of God is somewhat tricky. Unless you are in the spirit, understanding the mind of God will never be easy for you. Understanding the mind of God means being able to read His word and understand the real message He intended to pass to human beings since the beginning of time.

It is now clear that you cannot read the Bible sufficiently if you do not have a proper plan. The best way to go about this is to start having the passion for the word of God and He will definitely enable you to know about the hidden facts about the kingdom of heaven. The truth that most people, including Christians, do not know is that the word of God has everything you need to know about the kingdom of heaven.

What makes most Christians lack the zeal of reading the word of God is the habit of not attending the Sunday Service. Make sure you never miss the Sunday Service because it is an inspirational moment where the pastor will guide you through the process of praise, worship and the study of the word of God. The reason why worship and prayers come before the word is that so you are inspired and prepared in readiness to receive the word of God.

You already know that if you do not have a passion for something, then you will never have an interest for it. This means that if you have never wanted to be friend the word of God, you will never have time for it. Ask God to pour the hunger and thirst for His word within you so that you are able to read the book whenever you see it. This important practice process will help you start reading the whole book yearly.

Have the habit of writing down the scriptures given to you during the Sunday service or the normal Biblical studies classes. Doing this is great because it will train you to become accustomed to the word of God more than you are attracted to romance books and state newspapers. You will start becoming a good reader regardless of your level of understanding about the word of God.

Pray always. Pray when before you read the word of God and after reading it. This will help you to not only develop a passion for the scriptures but also have the zeal to read it more and more.

Always remember the scripture that talks about letting the word of God to dwell richly in you and as you pray and read, always have the desire to read along every day of your life. Once you have done enough practice, go to the bookstore and buy a yearly Biblical reading guide book to help you read the bible chronologically. Such books have a better reading plan that will help you read the whole Bible in 365 days.
