Learn How To Play Craps Through Lessons And Practice

By Olivia Cross

Craps is an interesting game and stands out as one of the best bets in a casino. If you are new in casinos, this is the best bets to start with. It is very lively, and other players are always screaming as you win. The casino profit (house edge) is just 1.41%. This is up to 3 times better than roulette. It is also many times better than the slot machines. However, it does not come easy; you have to learn how to play craps by making the good bets and avoiding the suckers.

The first thing is to make the game easy. In order to do this, you must first learn what you need to know, and ignore all other things you have been told. Everything else should be regarded as noise. If you know just a single bet, you are good enough to play craps. This is the Pass Line bet, the one that you can use to play comfortably.

Before everything else, you will need chips. This is called buying chips. It is very easy, just put the cash on the table and the dealer provides the chips for the cash offered. Since the dealers don't give change, all the money that you offer will be turned into chips.

This is a game of totals and not numbers. As such, rolling 3 does not mean getting a 3 on the dice, both rather a total of three on both of the dice. For first-time players, this must be very clear to avoid getting confused when playing.

When it comes to shooting the dice, every player has an equal chance. The shooter is the player rolling the dice at a given time. It is done in turns and the chances of winning or losing a bet are equal even if you are the one rolling the dice.

It is also important to keep in mind that only totals matters, for instance, rolling a 3 does not mean getting a 3 on any of the dice. It means getting a total of three on both of the dice. The pass Line is the bet you are looking for. It has a house edge or casino profit of 1.41% and hence one of the best bets in the casino.

It is also important to understand that craps is a game of rounds with the Come-Out Roll being the first roll. Just a single roll can be equal to one round. In some cases, though, a single round consists of several rolls. When confused in between, it is advisable to wait until the next Come-Out Roll. The deal normally turns little puck to OFF to indicate the start of the new round.

However, 2, 3 or 12 mean that you lost. The second Come Out roll is even trickier. Generally though, a win earns you amount equally to what you bet. If it is a loss, you lose the bet. If the chip you bet is $5, you earn another $5 for winning or lose $5 if you lose. All you need to know is the Pass Line to bet successfully.
