Alternative Education Effects On Poverty In Our Society

Poverty is a global problem found in all countries, even the most developed countries. It is present in both rural and urban areas. In rural areas, it is mostly experienced when one cannot access most of the basic necessities like education and health facilities. On the other hand, in urban areas it is mostly experienced when one lacks unsafe housing, overcrowding, pollution and so forth. Education is not a way of escaping poverty but a way of fighting it. Many of us see education as a way of making us rich and successful in future, but not everyone falls on this path. There are other alternative education effects on poverty.

Going to school opens one to so many opportunities. If you are bright, there are organizations that will be willing to sponsor you. This is not only in class activities, but also in recreational activities like sports. There will always be a person helping you stand out from the rest if you are hard working. Opening up these opportunities gives one a chance to alleviate poverty in their area.

One acquires the basic knowledge of the things around him. How everything and everyone utilizes work. This helps in sparking up creativity that enable him to invent things that make life easier. This will impact greatly on the development of that country and the world at large.

Communication skills are also an essential part of education. Communications form the basis of most of our relationships. Good relations are very essential for a nation for it will create peace and harmony among the citizens. In the professional world, such skills are mostly practiced in the media while communicating to the public. Communication skills are found in every aspect. If you do not know how to communicate, you cannot be employed.

Institutions are centers for people from all walks of life. They are inhabited by people from different backgrounds and races. Our interaction with such people helps us adapt to living in harmony with others. We are able to avoid misunderstandings caused by our differences. As we all know, conflicts are a major contributor to society issues such as poverty. Conflicts makes a nation lag behind in terms of development.

One gets to equip himself or herself with the necessary life skills. This skills helps us when we are faced with a difficult situation. We are able to make better decisions that can impact positively into our lives and that of others. Good decision emphasize on equality when it comes to the distribution of resources.

One learns other skills and crafts that can be a source of livelihood. These skills can be tailoring, artwork, music, knitting and so many others. When one is passionate about something they tend to do it to their level best. This in turn will increase the quality of these products and help individuals fight poverty.

Knowledge training plays a very important role in giving hope to the hopeless. It helps individuals see a brighter future. This hope gives them encouragement to work harder in that which they are doing. They always work for a brighter future.

Education can be seen as a very powerful weapon against poverty. It should therefore be made accessible to everyone through the institutions and the internet. Knowledge is powerful. Education is just a way of helping people acquire knowledge that will help them improve their living standards.
