Finding a race will be crucial for beginners. If they have never taken part in one of these races before, they will need to choose one that plays to their strengths. A race calendar will provide several options in the regional area. Most calendars are updated frequently and will feature a list that goes out several months in advance. Some calendars may be color coded by region or county for easy readability.

Clothing should be light weight whenever possible. This way, it will dry off after individuals have gotten finished with the swimming portion of the race. Clothing items that are light-weight can usually be found for bargain prices. With dedication, individuals can find some shirts and shorts that will serve them well.

In the end, finding a good triathlon should not be difficult. Many individuals, in fact, may even move on to an Iron Man once they have conquered a triathlon. With luck, people can continue to make progress with physical fitness. Many individuals might even get their friends or family members to take up the sport with them in the days and weeks further down the road.
