Rubber Golf Tees Provide Many Advantages

By Tracie Knight

Like any sport gold has a range of different items to help improve one's game. These items range from gold clubs to gloves. Often it's the small things that are over looked, like using rubber golf tees. Rubber tees' are a lot more versatile than the standard plastic or porcelain tees you can get.

Often the tee is considered the piece of plastic that holds the ball still, well that's the answer you will get from a beginner golfer. As you grow and learn the game you will notice different ways to play. Not only will you learn to adjust your stance, grip and swing, you will also look at what tee you are using on the course and in the driving ranges.

There are many ways to improve your game of golf, as it is so for any sport. The main thing that sticks out is practicing. Dedicating time at the driving range and on the golf course will ensure that you become as good as you want to be. Gold is very relaxing and can become extremely stressful in the same light if you are not well prepared.

What happens at the driving range though, especially the indoor type? Here you cannot always place a tee into the ground as it is either a mat of a hard solid surface. Introducing the rubber tee, this allows for a tee off as the tee has a base which does not have to be sunk to be used. This versatile tee can be used on the course, in your home or even the driving range.

If you are finding the soil particularly soft then you will find it hard to get the clearance you want by sinking your tee. Often the soft soil demands deeper penetration for strength and sturdiness. If you do not sink the tee deep enough you may find your ball coming off or your swing being affected. By using a surface type tee you will eliminate this problem.

The rubber tee has many benefits. From a flat base to adjustable heights, this beauty can be used anywhere. This can be used on hard mats or soft long grass with the greatest of ease. Technology has made them light weight and durable, so much so that if they are connected they will only travel a few feet even in full swing. Best of all they will survive the swing to be used again.

The rubber tee on the other hand is light weight and is designed not to travel very far if connected. The aerodynamics stops the travel shortly after it has taken place. This means that not only does no one get hurt, but even your tee remains intact and ready to reuse when needed. There is no doubt that there is a distinct advantage for using this.

So, why not treat yourself to some extra goodies to help improve your golf game? They are not very expensive and will be well worth the price. Once again, don't just rely in the tools, you need to practice or you will not get any better.
