The construction industry requires the use of various materials for it to be a success. An example of such a material is the stainless steel i beam. This is used in the construction and erection of concrete structures. Heavy metals for example iron are used after mixing them with various compounds to enhance their strength. The letter i was coined on the props since they are straight and long in nature.

They come in a variety of lengths hence enabling them be applicable in differently. This is to enable them hold great amounts of weight as well as maintain the integrity of a structure. In the modern world of construction, alloyed iron cross pipes can be used in different construction industries.

The pipes are used in shipyard boat fabrication. This is the making of large boats, ferries and ships. It is because alloyed iron is much stronger than natural wood. Another advantage they have over wood is that it does not require sealing before finally being painted. Normally, they serve as the flooring of ship since it supports much weight. The cross pipes do resist much shrinkage.

Skyscrapers, stadiums and tall pillars are strengthened by the use of such alloyed cross pipes. They offer great support for concrete and offer protection to the walls of a structure. These props alloyed and coats of paint added to make them last long. The paints used when painting are manufactured to be of various distinctions hence offer wide selection. They offer spans and support long propping hence they tend to be suitable for rectangular shaped structures.

Many residential houses normally have large open spacing in them. Alloyed iron makes such spacing and design possible. They are used in connection with the wooden material reserved for both floors and walls. For the wall purpose laminating them with veneer lumber hence making them much lighter than wood. Laminated iron can be used for flooring since they create less floor squeaking.

Road and rail bridge construction requires the use of such cross pipes. Most single and multiple span bridges normally are made using different lengths of alloyed iron props. These props made to integrate with concrete hence offer maximum support to large and heavy loads.

In the aircraft industry, most alloyed iron props are made much lighter by mixing them with aluminum. It enables air crafts float on air and much higher altitudes. Most pipes are made to have holes hence allow air pass through them with much ease. Such alloyed props are welded and affixed with other fittings to give an aircraft its required weight and shape.

There are several challenges associated with the use of stainless steel i beam. They undergo deformation due to deflection under high temperatures. The other problem is that of anchoring which requires much expertise otherwise it will not offer support.
