Examples Of Bible Scriptures On Life

By Jennie Sandoval

God controls the activities of all living things. He is the one who created the plants and animals so He deserves the sole privilege of instructing His creatures on the proper way of living. These standards are contained in Bible scriptures on life. By following the examples and instructions cited in these scriptures, man can learn to please God and increase his blessings. Whether you read the Old Testament or the New Testament, you will find a lot of these verses in the Bible.

Jeremiah 29:11 is a word of encouragement to those who feel like quitting from the Christian faith because of different kinds of troubles. The verse is saying do not quit because he cares about your welfare. God is faithful and He will never let His children to be afraid.

The world is always changing but God's standards never change. As a result, those who are called by God's name must learn to resist worldly desires and cleave to His word. According to Romans 12:2, instead of accepting the new trends of evil in the society, it is better to allow the word of God to have more effect in your life. This can be achieved by constantly reading the scriptures.

Sometimes, it is difficult to predict what God is about doing. It is therefore necessary to follow Him one step at a time. In Romans 8:28, He encourages everyone to trust Him because everything He does is for good. He will bring everything to fulfillment at the right time.

Christians are encouraged to live like salt and light in the world. Salt makes food taste better and Christians are called to make the lives of others look better. Similarly, light gives direction and prevents one from stumbling. It takes away darkness and makes men order their steps in the right direction. These are the attributes God wants from His children as they live on earth.

Matthew 6:33 and Job 22:21 look similar. While Matthew 6:33 is centered on the righteousness of God which is only available through Jesus, Job 22:21 only talks about following God and making conscious efforts to be at peace with Him. The two scriptures on life are actually important for getting the best gifts from God.

It is nice to hear God say that He knew you before you were formed in your mum's womb. This statement gives one the assurance that anything God allows in definitely for good, even if it does not feel okay initially. No matter the circumstances surrounding your birth, be rest assured that your life is not accident. After all, He is the one who still supplies the air you breathe and the food you eat.

Bible scriptures on life also make Christians know that anxiety and fear are totally unacceptable before Him. He says if He cares for the flowers and pigeons, He will certainly take care of your needs too. He has all the riches in His control and He can command them to come to you. Your comfort in life should come from God alone. You can find more about this in Matthew 6:25.
