Basic Spanish Lesson Plans For Students

By Claudine Hodges

When one wants to teach a Spanish language class, he has to make sure that he goes into class prepared. Now the only way to be able to prepare for a class would be to of course make a lesson plan first. So if one is a first timer in this kind of thing, then here is a guide on how to make some very basic spanish lesson plans for students.

Now this guide will help first time instructors know how to make a basic lesson plan. Now the first thing on the list would first be an introduction to the Spanish language which would give students an overview of the language. One would learn more about the alphabet and how it is used in this kind of language.

Now the next thing that the teacher will have to be teaching would be the breaking down of the letters and forming certain words. Before learning new words, the teacher would first have to teach the students about how to pronounce the syllables properly. Unlike in English, students will be pronouncing syllables a little bit differently for this language.

The next thing on the list of things to teach would be of course some basic words. Of course from there the teacher will be teaching the students some basic words so that the vocabulary of the students will improve. Of course the teacher will also come up with some activities to help them do this.

Now once one has gotten the basics of word forming down, then he has to learn how to make a sentence. Now the first thing that one would be learning about would be the parts of the sentence. Of course the very first part of the lesson would be learning how to use different kinds of nouns like common nouns and proper nouns as well as some pronouns that can be used.

Of course the next thing that should be taught would be the verbs along with the adjectives and the adverbs. These are all parts of a sentence and are very crucial in learning the language. So basically, learning about the nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, and adverbs would allow the students to be able to know how to form a sentence.

Of course along with that, he will also be learning how to apply some simple grammar rules which will enable one to make an entire paragraph. Of course this will then lead to the teacher teaching the students some speaking exercises so that the students can be able to practice the language. The only way that one will be able to learn the language would be to just continue practicing and practicing.

So basically, those are the minimum things that one should put in a basic lesson plan. Now the main goal of a teacher would be to teach students to speak the language. Of course the teacher would also need to come up with a concrete plan so that his lessons will have flow and coherence.
