The first thing that you need to do is find a place that would give you the quality pictures that you want to achieve. Since you are still a beginner in underwater photography, then you are recommended to conduct a shoot in a swimming pool. Consider safe waters as your best friend from now on.

Second, be a light maniac from this point onwards. Keep in mind that you will never have those great images if it is pitch black in your shoot location. Thus, have your sessions during the day or even in the afternoons as much as possible. If you cannot make that happen, then bring a lot of light equipment with you.

Also, you need to have a new perspective when it comes to close proximity. This feature may not be that cool when you are on land but you will certainly be amazed of the quality of the pictures that it can give to you when you are on water. Moreover, learn to stretch those muscles. You can never get a good shot if you will not outstretch your arms once in a while. On the other hand, practice making bubbles. If you have not noticed yet, these things look completely adorable whether you are in land or in water. Thus, try to create them naturally as much as possible. Also, be able to implement moderation at the same time so that your pictures would not look distorted in any way.

If you would be able to bring props into the shoot, then the better. You can use them to make your images look more realistic. They would also add color and interest into your creations so that other people would have no choice but to give them the time of the day.
