Even though you are fully dressed to camouflage but the wind would get you, chances are the deer will smell you and would run of knowing someone is on him. Cover your smell through shampoos and cologne a scent they are unfamiliar with.

Make sure to pack the necessity. Of course, you are going to be bringing a backpack along with you. Pack stuffs that are only necessary like extra ammo, extra clothes, binoculars, knife, and food and drinks. Packing unnecessary items will just make the load heavier can could be a problem to you.

Lastly, know where to hunt. Before the season begins, experts recommended that you scout for a hunting location. They are usually seen on locations where they eat and mate. So, it is your job to know which place is this. It is for you to discover such places. Remember, they are not in the same place all the time.
