Getting Ready For Kinetic Half

The need to stay healthy and engage in healthy activities is an issue everyone concerns themselves with. If you are keen enough when taking a walk down the streets, you will notice some people jogging around. Others are most likely in the gym dong some exercise. Everyone wants to be as fit as possible and thus the need to exercise on a regular basis. Most people are thus out there enjoying a breath of fresh air in their jogs. Some people are however out there making some preparations for the kinetic half.

The idea of this event was brought forth by an athlete. The athlete wondered how increasing the distance the athletes usually cover both for those who do running and those who swim will affect their performance. The running space was made in such a way that some proportion of it will be ran on barefoot and the rest with shoes.

Water is widely used in this competition. However, the water that is used is usually subjected to low temperature levels of about fifteen degree Celsius. Due to these low temperatures one needs a wet suit of their own. Competitions which involved cycling were conducted along the lakes and areas whose hills have a good view. As most people consider cycling as a difficult event, the course was designed in such a way that there is watering points in between some intervals.

This event is usually organized in such a way that the distances to be covered in the various competitions are divided into some proportions. The activities include cycling, swimming and running. The running competition is normally done in two surfaces. They include both sand and grass. Shoes are used when need be. The players are expected to have a bike of their own.

This event is full of fun activities. However, it is important to consider some health factors before participating in such events. This is because of some health problems such as Achilles tendinitis. This happens when one increases the distance run without giving the body time to adjust to the changes. One feels pain at the back of the heel and it hurts while running. Stiffness is also a sign.

This event provides a platform through which people interact and socialize. It provides for the numerous age groups in the society. It is usually organized in such a way that it caters for the different age groups.

The kinetic event is based on the basis of team work. This is due to formation of some competitive teams prior to the game. This enhances team building as members work towards achievement of a common goal. This event offers prizes to winners thus motivating some form of effort.

Being involved in a recreational activity is an important aspect of human life. However, moderation should govern everything done here. You should not overdo something at the expense of others for instance health. The body is very sensitive to each and every change in its internal and external environment. Changing it will need time to adjust to this.
