Golf Courses In The City Of Boca Raton

While in Florida, there are so many places to visit. Palm Beach County, in the state of Florida hosts the beautiful city of Boca Raton. It is a city located between the shorelines of Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. It is a place small enough to capture the attention of introverts and big enough for the extroverts.

There up to 1500 miles of parks and hiking grounds. The hospitality industry is exquisite and offers a home away from home feel and a serene atmosphere from the bustles of the city. The night life is welcoming and the food heartwarming. The experience of the beach is unforgettable and the people friendly. However, the numerous and exciting golf courses are the crown of the city.

There are many golf courses in the city, actually 34 in number; it is easy to get spoilt for choice. There are both public as well as private owned golf courses in the city. Public courses are owned and operated by the municipal. The Municipal Golf Course includes the Championship and Executive golf courses.

The location of the above is in a serene spot not far from Glades Road exit. Championship course is 18 holes field measuring 6,714 yards. Executive course measures 1877 yards, has a par of 30 and eight holes. In addition, it contains perfectly manicured green lawns and fairways decorated with winding lakes and mature trees. There are also many private golf courses.

The Polo Club has over ten water hazards, a slope of 128, a par of 71, and eighteen holes and is 6, 253 yards in size. It offers golfing for all levels including novices and professionals. The Stonebridge Golf Club is another private course measuring 6808 yards with eighteen holes. It has a set of six tees to incorporate players of all skills.

For country club fans, there are many clubs that offer golfing. Woodfield Country Club is a semi private managed course with 18 holes in a country club setting with an atmosphere of a resort. Bocaire Country Club is residential and located in the suburbs. It is for members only and boasts of two championship courses among other amenities.

The Arnold Palmer Course is located in St. Andrews Country Club and is a privately run magnificent golf course. It is an 18 holes course and measures 6526 yards from longest tees. There are five different sets of tees to suit all levels of golfers. The greens and the fairways are made of Bermuda grass and is a closed membership club.

There are other several courses of golf in the city. For both visitors and residents there are amenities for them to enjoy. However, it is advisable to first call to determine whether the membership is open or closed. Besides, items such as clubs and golf carts may or may not be available for rental. This information is important. Remember to book in advance, tee spaces fill in quick.
